Actress DuShon Monique Brown, best known for her role on NBC’s Chicago Fire, has died. She was 49. A film, television, commercial and voice-over actress she graced the stages of many Chicago theaters. She will be ever remembered for her notable performances in a number of films and teleserials.
Born in Chicago on November 30, 1968, Brown after completing her education chose acting as her career option. She appeared in a number of other TV shows and films, including Shameless and Empire. Brown gained fame for her role as nurse Katie Welch in "Prison Break". Her performance as Connie on NBC's Chicago Fire was admired by her fan and critics alike. Brown also starred in Boss, and Electric Dreams. Brown died at St. James Olympia Fields Hospital at the age of 49 on March 23, 2018.
